    Default Joseph Rogers frameback

This weekend I've finished off this nifty 7/8 frameback. Honed it up and shaves like a dream.

I love the careful attention paid to the shape of the scales and how perfectly the blade fits between the scales. The pitting/black spots on the blade compliment the swirling abyss in the scales as well. Where did you "unearth" this gem? Fantastic job.

Appreciated. I got this gaffer off eBay and did the scales and cleanup myself. I rarely go full polish, I have a soft spot for a bit of patina.

I'm not entirely sure. if I had to guess, I'd say probably walnut.
