All hail the "King Of Sterling!!!!
Har! Thanks, Darl! I don't know about the 'King', though. As many times as I have been smoked on auctions for silver scales, a 'King' surely is out there. I am more a 'Duke' or a 'Lord'.

Seriously though. Congrats! ✨ I also love the history lessons that you share with us.
My thanks, Mike! I really enjoy the history almost as much as the razors. The advantage of having our fine historians here is golden!

Yes. I really like the history too. For me, if I know a history on one of my razors it is more valuable. Not money-wise per se but more valuable to me. More meaningful I guess. That's one of the first things I try to find out when I get one I know I'm going to hold on to. You're right about how nice it is to have access to a few history buffs here also.

What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

The superlatives are exhausted, all I can add is that the razors are lucky to have fallen into your hands.

Once again Tom beautifully executed restoration, the blades and the scales both have their own history, very cool my friend.

Hart, Thanks! Means a great deal, although I feel it is I who am lucky to have THEM!

Wow Tom. Jawdropping is the word that comes to mind here. I really like one of the last shots where you can see the silver already taking some patina again. Very classy blades and resto. Judged by the fact that the silver is Dutch, I'd say it's only fair that they would spend some time back in Amsterdam no? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink...
Just joking of course. Thanks for sharing.

Thank You, Sir! I do appreciate that. Let me enjoy them a while. I can see them possibly 'going home' at some point!
