    I watched the marathon the other night , I was disappointed,, I didn't see anything that would be worth having ,, they don't give them enough time for a quality product , so if it's just grinding a rough piece of metal into a pointed object I guess I don't want to watch , I thought there was going to be some really technical process and some nice looking blades , maybe I expected to much. I would have liked to see artist bring a-games to the table , like the bladsmiths of old. , you know , Lile, Randall and the others bringing us practical works of art that you can be proud of ,, Tc

    The last couple of shows have been a bit more interesting. For what it's worth, Murray Carter is going to be on Aug 10th - we will see how a "17th generation Japanese blade smith" shows up. I liked the show a oouple of weeks back with the two Japanese trained guys.
