Default Joseph Rodgers 9/8 'Dutch Rattler'

Finished this a couple of weeks ago. Lovely razor! Made the scales from blonde buffalo horn, wedge from camel bone, and with nickel silver pins.

You did a beautiful job on the scales. That's quite an impressive razor!

Oh yes! A real nice job. Thanks for leaving the character and patina alone.
    Like it, a LOT!

    Very impressive razor and restoration.

Any chance you saved a "before" picture?

And I'm with sharpton on preserving the patina...

    Well done!

    Generous comments gentleman, many thanks!

Thankfully it wasn't in too bad a condition - so I just used micro-mesh from 2400 grit through to 12000. Then buffed with emery compound, and finally white jewelers rouge.

Dutch Rattler? I might just have found a "grail" razor to hunt for. This one is lovely.
