I especially like that smiler; that characteristic notch at the front of the spine on some of your razors is really cool. Makes it look like a rhino

Joe, do you make your own Damascus or do you buy billets? If you make your own, how did you achieve that pattern?

Thanked: 28Those are very beautiful.....your very talented. How long does it take to make one of those razors? I am very new to the site and the art as well just started 2 weeks ago. The folding razor with the notch is very nice. I like the multi toning of the metal.

Just buy billets for now. I make my own san mai and that is about as far as I want to go by hand at the moment. When I get a press I will start making my own damascus.
Thanks - anywhere from 2-4 weeks depending on how much time I get in the shop on any given day/week.
