17/16 Sheffield Chopper lookalike in faux ivory
A year or so ago I made a smiling chopper in tool steel, inspired strongly by the Joseph Rogers and W&B Sheffield choppers. I decided to make one like that again, but in Damascus this time. The steel is O2/L6 8Damascus, 84 layers by Howard Clark. For the scales I decided to deviate from my penchant for colorful scales, and instead chose faux Ivory kirinite, with black mop kirinite spacer, in order to achieve a more classical look.
