Down to the marrow....by OCD
This is an 8/8's full hollow spike point. Elongated hexagons are filed into the spine and thumb jimps on the bottom. The finish is near-mirror.
The scales are made from the marrow part of an antler, the part that looks like a sponge. I cut these so long ago that I'm not sure what animal they're from. Elk, I think. I then splotch dyed the marrow Violet, Scarlet, and Sunshine Yellow. I then coated them with an amber colored epoxy to mute it down. The result, Beautiful deep coat with rich manly colors. The pics don't do them justice. Wedge is from ivory micarta.
As always, Thanks for looking

Nice job Bob. Love the angularity of the spine and edge lines.
A beautifully executed BEAST.

Love the blade style, and being a OCD razor, I bet it's crazy sharp!
But the alligator head is unpleasant... (animal lover)
