I don't see Joseph Fenton & Sons very often
Just finished honing this up this morning. Nothing fancy about this one. Your basic classic Sheffield wedge. A 6/8 near wedge with the blade faces finished in a bright crocus finish and the tang in glaze as it was originally finished. The scales are original and in excellent condition considering the age. I was able to save the original steel collars and used brass pins just as it was. Odd the one brown mark in the middle of the honey horn. The makers name on the stamp is faint but it was to start with.

Excellent work. There is a desire to take this to a razor and shave it.
