Thanked: 2284Both were oiled with a Marine teakwood oil, let dry for 3 days and then hit with 0000 (super fine) steel wool. The Cocobolo I then buffed with tripoli, white diamond, and then Carnauba wax. The Sumac was left with just the oil finish. I may have jumped the gun on the Sumac a bit, it soaked up quite a bit of the oil and now I'm thinking It may need more. No biggy though, I'll put another thin coat on now.
