    Default The popular Frederick Reynolds

I'm not sure how many of these I've restored but probably second only to Wade & Butcher. I find they take an easy edge and provide a comfortable shave. Of all I've done I didn't have one to call my own until now. A gentle smiling 15/16 blade. Brown and honey horn streaked scales at .110 thickness with a lead wedge and brass beehive collars. I love this color horn and seems to be the hardest to come by. Horn is my favorite material to work in. Each piece is unique and you never know what colors you'll find until the final polish.

Beautiful! Just beautiful! Indeed, the variation in the horn colors are very appealing.nice to hear you get to hold on to this one.

Well that is a shining example of FR if ever there was one. I too love that color or colors of horn. I have never come close to capturing the depth of the streaking. I think they are my favorite Sheffield. Great restore.

Nice all around- great color on those scales and the blade shined up beautifully! I have two in my rotation and they are fantastic shavers
