    I like the look. Something that concerns me is the angle of the scales at the tang. They really seem to bow out. This could be from the shape of the tang or the shape of the "wedge." Overall a very nice razor or two

    I think that might be an illusion in the shape of the scales. They are 'carved' for want of a better word. By that I mean they are entirely shaped by hand. There is a little 'flare' at the tail as the arms pass the pivot in the tang. It could possibly be making an optical illusion. The tail passes cleanly through them without contact.
