Something a lil different...
Found this blade rusting away in badly chewed up set of scales. Sent it off to Mark to get revived with a set Merino Rams horn scales.
Btw this is a Merino Ram.

though the slabs were quite narrow I wanted to use just one so I could rip it and have the sides as closely book matched as possible. Now the ripples line up from side to side.
Getting the thickness wasn't too much of a problem but getting them flat ( with the memory in the slabs) was a bit of a challenge. But I took the fight out of them.
Thanks for letting me do this piece . I like that I was a different type of challenge.Suticat likes this.
