    Default Wm. Hargreaves & Co.

Another Sheffield maker I have not seen a lot from. I found just a few posts of his work in the forums so I thought I'd share this. According to Tweedale's Directory the business was founded by William Hargreaves 1803 - 1874. In the mid 1850's the business was restyled as Hargreaves, Smith & Co.
A gentle smiling 13/16 near wedge grind. The original horn scales were broken at the pivot. Made up some brown/honey horn scales with some smokey streaks and assembled with a lead wedge and brass beehive collars. Test shave tomorrow morning.
