    Thanks guys, and yup I was going for ergonomic grip with the detents and they work nicely. Not that the absence of them ever affected one of my other straights, just went for something a little different. Sharptonn is restoring a devil razor now with near identical factory detents, so it's been done before..
    Key things like thin scale thickness, tang to scale transition flow at the pivot, and trying to make the divot expose more of the makers mark but still flow with the lines of the blade all worked out pretty well. The amber is quite a light material, so the weight seems light to me, but not clumsy.
    It's a shape I would consider making again, depending on razor. I see it working with a double bellied razor very well.
