Well-done! I can imagine much time involved. I wonder about using that bar-top epoxy poured over on projects like this?

    Default Cigar Band Tabletop

I know this is a bit off topic but seeing we touched on using cigar bands I thought I would share a project my wife and I completed a while back using a few cigar bands I collected over the years.
We used a two part self leveling apoxi.
Most the work involved opening up and straightening out the bands so they could be glued down.

I considered that or another epxoy that I use on models but too much work/coats, cost, mess, thickness, sanding, etc all went through my head and I always came back to CA finish.

I would be willing to send out cigar bands to any of my shaving buddies if you have a special project in mind.
