Thanked: 12Latest Build
Good Evening everyone. I haven't been able to get in the shop much lately but I did manage to finish one finally tonight. This is a 11/16 Damascus (from admiral steel). French tip with a nice 1/4 to 1/2 hollow grind (more half).I finished it on a 3 inch wheel. Some file work the entire length. I love the look of file work so I have been attempting to learn some different techniques, this one was the simplest to learn for me. The scale are black horn with some streaking and the wedge is deer antler. Overall it turned out nice and it really took a great edge and is a really nice shaver. Comments, Input and critiques are always welcome. Thanks!!

Nice work, I love the file-work and the feathering on that horn! (Which reminds me, I've got some nice feathered horn out in my neglected shop to play with).
