A couple of Middleton razors
So now I have two I posted the 8/8 FBU back in June I think but I was missing one of the unique brass collars for the restore. I came across this second Middleton a couple of weeks ago with rotten scales so I cannibalized one of the collars for the FBU. I copied the scales for the second razor and used some reproduction collars. It is just over 7/8 with the same big tang having upper and lower jimps. I went with the original glaze finished blade and crocus type finish on the spine and tang on the FBU. The second Middelton I went with a full crocus type finish.

SO very nice!
Excellent work preserving some somewhat rare razors!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Very nice pair of razors Karl! Love the work you did on the scales, and your 'Crocus Type' finish on the second razor is looking great....
