Custom 6/8" straight razor with palisander scales - HG
A Spanish gentleman to use this razor, which recently made by me. It managed to almost perfectly polished the hollow grind too. I learn something new working on every blade. The scales was coated with shellac. I hope you will like it.
- O1 tool steel hardened to HRC 61
- 6/8" (18.5mm) wide blade
- Quarter hollow grind
- Mirror polish blade including the hollow ground
- Palisander scales and turquoise edge
- Phosphor-Bronze pivot bearing washers
- Copper wedge/spacer pin with copper washers
- Adjustable stainless steel pivot pins

Beautiful work on this razor Gregg ! Nice lines and attention to detail , and I especially like how you incorporated the "spoon tang/tail" into the design... Kudos

Excellent turned razor. Also I like the properties of the wood on the handle, with a beautiful solid structure.

That's a beautiful razor that I'm sure the gentleman in Spain will be proud to own. The turquoise wedge is the icing on the cake.
