Thread: Joseph Rodgers and sons with ivory scales

I just finished this up this afternoon, it turned out pretty well overall. I only did light polishing because I wanted to keep the etch, which left some marks from the rust but everything is smooth. My only issue was a doozy- I cracked the ivory scales unpinning them I glued them back together and sanded to try to hide the break, but obviously you can see the crack! This was my first attempt unpinning and pinning ivory, I just went super slow on the pinning to avoid breaking them. Again.
