    Default Drew in Ivory

This Drew is the Friday razor from a set. The blade was in relatively decent condition with just a light bit of pitting. Unfortunately the original Ivory scales were cracked as well as they allowed the blade's edge to protrude . When I made the new scales I followed the original shape but made adjustments to fix this. Also, by request, kept them a bit fuller than usual and this allowed me to radius the surface.
No washers, brass pins and a black horn wedge completed it.

Very nice, classic style scales and super polish on the blade. Very clean.
    Good work.

Nice work, I prefer the new scales than the old ones. Nice round ones. Very clean polish.

Thanks. Yes, I too like the look of the new scales. Nothing wrong with the typical flat ones but these are a nice diversion .

I like it my friend! : Very nice work!

It's nice to see a little 'variant' to the usual flat. Personally I see nothing wrong with 'bending the rules' so to speak.

Thanks. But I'm back to working some flats. I have a boxed 7 day set of Drews that I'm currently restoring for myself. Here they are after breaking them down . I made one full set of scales and 3 singles. They're now about ready to go back together and then just resto the box.

If they turn out as nice as this one, you are in for a real treat.

Thanks for reviving this blade for me Mark.
