"O Canada! Our home and native land..." Wade & Butcher Dominion of Canada razor
Haven't posted any new projects lately...BUT this one was just too nice not to share. It's a Wade & Butcher with a beautiful etch on the blade face: the "DOMINION OF CANADA RAZOR". This one was restored for a member here at SRP, and is a real beauty. WISH IT WERE MINE!!!
Finish polished with crocus paste and a leather wheel and dressed in brown streaked horn with SS domed washers.
Hope you like it...especially you guys up North!

Thanks guys! It is a 'very cool' etch...and I am really glad I was able to save it. I did have to do some 'work around' narrowing it to get rid of pits fore and aft of it, and some hone wear on the spine and edge, BUT It turned out great!

Thanked: 4826What a beautiful razor, I'm not sure what it is doing that far south though, perhaps it is a migratory razor and wintering down there with so many other Canadians.
