13/16" Suminagashi custom straight razors
I got a custom order for three razors. I had a lot of problem during this process but finally I have finished them. The desert ironwood burl was laminated on the carbon fiber sheet to reinforcement. I hope you will like them. Sorry for the bad pictures, I did not have enough light.
- Multi-Layered Takefu Suminagashi steel hardened to HRC 62
- 13/16" (21mm) wide blade
- Quarter hollow grind
- 60mm cutting edge
- Stamped maker's mark (HG)
- Desert ironwood burl and grenadil wedge
- Phosphor-Bronze pivot bearing washers
- Brass wedge/spacer pin with stainless steel washers
- Adjustable stainless steel pivot pins

Those came out absolutely superb. Formal clean lines with the added beauty of the steel.
