BJ Eyre& co Challenge
So I got this old girl fixed up,I went with maroon micarta and followed the original scale pattern, slim and rounded. The tang has a slight twist in it and when it comes down into the scales you have to put a bit of side pressure on the blade to get it to drop in.I thought maybe I would have to get creative with the honing but nope, one layer of tape and a perfectly even edge.Go figure !

Looks great!
The scales look like exotic wood.
I would have never guessed that those scales are micarta.
