Glen, this razor arrived in my mailbox today and is even more impressive than in the photos. Many, many thanks!
Guys, this is the third razor Glen has restored for me--beautiful work is apparently his trademark!
RE: the last photoI spent the first 3 years of my military life stationed in Bamberg, at that time in the Deutsche Bundesrepublik. My wife and I spent a long weekend in Berlin in May 1985, did the East Berlin afternoon bus tour (which was totally surreal), and came away convinced that that system would eventually implode someday, but we figured we'd be in our 60s before that happened (we were 35 at the time). Instead, it dried up and blew away almost overnight 5 years later."If you ever get the pipes in good chune, your troubles have just begun."--Seamus Ennis
