That's a really neat old blade with those scallops.
The red dyed horn is fooling my eye. By the looks of the pics I would have guessed cocobolo.
I love the domed collars.

Thanks Martin! The red horn is really attractive...especially with a big blade... but it is not easy to work with, because the dye used to color the horn only goes so deep. As I said you have to do all the sanding on the back side of the horn and carefully polish the surface.
