The other Wostenholm
Nothing fancy here. A 13/16 near wedge blade with a crocus type finish. Nice strong makers stamp. The original horn scales were broken and were replace with a wonderful piece of honey horn, a faux ivory wedge and brass beehive collars. The horn is nice and thin at .105. Sweet shave. It has gone to a new home in Louisiana.

Thanked: 4826Nice work! It is nice when the lines are all in perfect condition to start with. You kept them all crisp and clean too. I well executed restore for sure.

That is a very nice razor. The honey horn looks fabulous.

When I first looked at the pics, before reading anything, I thought I was looking at two different razors. I said to myself, 'they both look really good but I prefer the top one.' The way the steel looks in the shank area of the before pic...my ideal for vintage. That said, sweet work all around, particularly the scales, beautiful.

Nice work. Did you lose some of the width? Maybe it's the camera angle but the original appears to have more of a smile and looks wider as well.
My service is good, fast and cheap. Select any two and discount the third.
