W&B in Himalayan Ram's Horn Redux
Some of you may remember this thread, http://straightrazorpalace.com/custo...rams-horn.html with this blade.
After looking at it and using it, I completely agreed that the blade was way to small and I didn't like how bad my peening turned out. So I went on the search for the perfect candidate to revive and replace the blades. So I found this blade with a busted toe.
Once I received it, I was able to see just how bad the damage was. The original scales were so brittle that they just disintegrated during unpinning. Sadly I had to cut a good piece off the nose to get to salvageable/useable metal. Someone toe honed it to the point that it was paper thin. So I gently cleaned it up without removing to much patina, gave it a new profile and pinned it in the Himalayan Rams Horn.
So with out further delay, the Wade and Butcher with a new barbers notch in Himalayan Rams Horn.

For the Twin City blade, Im thinking about camel bone or some different horn that i have coming in. I need to see the new horn in person before I decide.

Looks good.... A better fit with the W&B.
A heftier blade in a hefty set of scales.
Is it over there or over yonder?
