So I was literally working my fingers to the "bone" out in the shop
Ok to the Camel Bone
First razor
Custom razor made by Bruno @Snailforge, Polished and put into custom fit scales here in the Northwoods
Specs:
7/8 Size blade polished out to near mirror
Scales- .105" thickness Camel Bone and polished to almost like Glass
Wedge - Malachite .065 thickness at the end
Pins - Brass
Inner and Outer Solid Brass washers
Honing - Chosera 1-5-10 Nakayama finish
Second Razor
Joseph Rodgers & Sons - Monkeytail the inside joke - This is not "The Perfect Razor" you have to be quite the Vintage aficionado to get that one hehehehe
Specs:
Polished to a nice clean Satin, just like they were originally
Camel Bone Scales are at .105" thickness and a simple polish
Ebony Wedge is at .055" at the end..
All Solid Brass hardware..
Honing - Chosera 1-5-10 Select Grade Coticule finisher
