At this point the bevel has been set on a 1K. It is nice and thin and even. In the last picture you can see some of the bevel. I was losing light and wanted to take the pictures. I always set the bevel before the blade is pinned in the scales. It gives me a last chance to correct any bevel issues. During the buffing process I adjust the width of the bevel. On this blade the bevel and hone wear were pretty even so it was easy. That's not always the case. Some of these old wedges have a lot of uneven hone and bevel wear.
