@Dafonz6987: I have never heard of a double bellied hollow ground, but it can be done. But I donĀ“t think that it will improve the shaving quality.
@koonclan: The steels used are 1.3505 (bearing steel) for the 6/8" and 1.2210 (Silversteel) for the 8/8". Hardening and tempering is done singly or in very small batches in a digital controlled furnace. The final hardness is about 62hrc. Until now we had only positive feedback concerning edge holding ;-)

This is what some of us refer to as a Bellied double-hollow grind, Ulrik!
You seem to have done it very nicely!
