    Default Roo Travel strop

Up till now i've always traveled with enough razors for every shave. Finally decided to make a travel strop. i knew i wanted to make it out of Roo as it is thin enough to be able to roll up tightly to save space. A member (thanks again RokyPop) was kind enough to PIF me a SRD component to make one with.

It was a 3 inch component and i prefer a 2.5 so i cut 1/4" off each side and made some lace out of the scrap.(you can't waste leather you know. plus it would be a shame to not braid some Roo) the scrap became the hanger with some keepers made of raw hide from a dog chew toy.

the bottom raw hide knot slides up to lock the strop on to a door handle. Works like a charm!

Nice! Roo is my favorite leather. I especially like your hanging solution and the fact that you used the trim to make it. I also like narrower strops, but I am getting along with my 3" SRD Roo.
