Default New Razor in O1 with Blue Paua Scales

I made this razor a while back. I have been really working on my hollow grinding skills trying out different wheel sizes and belts. This razor I consider a really success. I really enjoyed making this razor and it shaves like a dream. This razor is a hair over 7/8 wide with a french end. I did some really simple file work and put my name on the spine. The scales are Blue Paua ALVS. I really like working with ALVS as it is fairly easy to work with and I just have always been a fan of the look. As always comments, critiques, and feed back is always welcome. If I have to do it over I would reshape the heel area. I had a different look in my mind and that is what it turned out to look like, not what I had pictured but not terrible either so I left it as. Name: July 2016 010.jpg

No, but now that you mention it it does kind of look like it. I just built a new light box and am experimenting with a new camera set-up. Thanks for pointing that out, I may need to adjust the camera to get a better picture or maybe the type of light bulb that I use.

Wow, just gorgeous-I love the blade esthetics and jimping, and that paua, just stunning!
