    I realize this is an old thread, but I believe I have the brother of the razor the OP refinished.

    I have neither the equipment nor the skill to bring it back to the condition Karl managed with his restoration magic, but any suggestions for next steps would be welcomed.

    Try to clean out the pivot area ,hone it and shave on, i say.. It looks lovely..
