Default Seldom seen 7/8 H.H. Taylor

I believe this is one of Henry Holbert Taylors earlier razors. According to Tweedale's Directory he started in the 1840's. In the 1850's he was associated with Wilson, Hawksworth, Ellison & Co. which ceased in 1859. By 1860 he had launched Henry H. Taylor & Brother, Times Works, Paradise St.
The blade is restored in a crocus finish and has upper and lower tang jimps. The scales are copies of the originals in black horn with a copy of the original lead wedge. I do not have small steel collars as came on the original scales and as one was missing I substituted brass. The scales are a bit thinner too at .110. The originals measures .130.
