W. Greaves & Sons, thumb notch, restoration
I just completed this restoration project of a W. Greaves & Sons. It has a thumb notch and the spine comes to an abrupt ridge along the top. I made new horn scales to replicate the originals, used the original end cap on the scales, made the solid brass dome collars, and used brass pins. It's ready to go so I'm looking forward to shaving with it tomorrow! Thanks for checking it out...

Thanked: 4206Terrific job all around!
Lines on the blade, and your choice of polish and satin, and where they lay, really nicely done. Bevel looks really tight too.

Fantastic job on the scales, they look like the originals. And the finish on the blade looks superb.
