    That blade looks as good to me as any buff job. Hand sanding is just so much nicer! Awesome work!

    Excellent work! The blade came out great - the time and attention to detail really shows on this one. The scales just take the cake too! You have a treasure there and it was a great success, so happy for you. Thank you for sharing about the process and what a gift for your son that will be!     Nice job, I have 3 of those blades in need of scales, but I busy with DIY and have a couple of restorations to do for friends before I can squeeze them in time wise, I love the shape of the spine, hence me having 3 of em.

    Seeing how well yours turned out I may bump mine up to the front of the waiting list.
