Smiling Greaves and Sons in bone
This came in as a crusty bare blade and is on its way back to New York. A 13/16 smiling near wedge with a crocus type finish. Bone scales at .085 thickness with a black horn wedge and brass pins and collars.

Thanked: 4827It looks like you have your 2x72 dialed in and you are able to bring the dead back to new. Nice work.

That looks great, the finish on the blade combined with the scales give such a clean look. Quite a transformation!

That could not have been done any better. You should be very proud of that beauty.

Thanked: 35I received this today. I'm speechless. Even for Karl, this restoration is impeccable. But I say that every time he sends me that little USPS box!
Seriously thought, this crocus finish is gorgeous and the scales seem to fit the character of the blade perfectly.
