Thanked: 23Amazing razor, and that grind looks to be perfect, so thin I'd probably grind through it.

Thanked: 4249The grind is very impressive the gold splash not so much... the scales spacer is very big for such a thin blade, a wedge would close that big gap and give the scales flex.

That is impressive! I like the bellied grind. That's not an easy one.
The gold is pretty. Very well done. Lots of enjoyable shaves for the new owner.
Great stuff Ulrik!

Thanked: 272Hi Martin,
I am glad that you like the grind!
I am aware that the gold splash is very extreme and therefore surely not everyones cup of tea ;-)
Concerning the spacer. That is a willful decision. Of course we could make a real wedge (as we do if a customer want´s us to) But our blades are heavy, even when full hollow ground and the big spacer gives a good balance to the razor. Further we have designed the scales in a way, that the blade is resting on the shoulders, when the razor is closed. The hollowground has no contact to the scales which prevents scratches and pittings.
@ALL: Thank you for your kind comments!
best regards,
Ulrik
