    Default Feather AC Scales

Feather AC put into Amboyna Burl White G10 liners and a Black Acrylic spacer...
All brass hardware in and out including the Brass sleeve for the pivot hole

I have only done a couple of these of the years, this was a challenging build to get where I wanted it

The easy part was NOT having to worry about cutting myself on the edge

Like John, that's a first for me as well.
Really makes a feather more desirable if it's wearing something as sexy as that outfit.
    Nice job Glen.

Yes, it does make it more desirable. I have seen a few Feathers on the forum & it does not seem like a lot is put into the factory scales.

Very nice Glen, I assume you made sure the new scales are "autoclave" proof, just like the originals?

Actually, the wood scales offered by Feather are NOT autoclave safe either.... Only the plastic ones can go in an autoclave, and I'm just ruffling Glen's feathers a bit, but I do like the looks of those burl scales!

    Very nice Glen,
Ive never tried the feather, but would assume the extra weight would effect the balance and overall feel for the better.
