W. Greaves & Sons in bone
A pre-1850 Greaves & Sons 7/8 smiling near wedge. One of the first restorations of the new year. A beautiful crocus type finish on a blade featuring a barbers notch and a thumb notched tang. Bone scales with a contrasting black horn wedge and brass pins and collars. A few progression pictures. Before and after regrind. The bevel has been set on a 1K Chosera as a final check and the blade faces have been buffed on a sisal wheel in preparation for polishing.
