    Default Wester Bros. No.16 Restoration

I'm a big fan of Wester Bros razors. They aren't usually very fancy but the blades are very well made, easy to hone, and take a great edge. I sanded the blade with a sleeveless sanding drum, starting out at 220 grit to get the pitting out. I went up to 1k, then took it to the buffer. The front scale looked a little too Christmasy with the red ribbon so I went with blue on the back. If I were to do it again, I would use a lighter shade of blue for the ribbon on both sides.
