Default Henckels 14 in lined scales

This is the first Henckels 14 I've come across - there may have been a slight modification to the heel area, I'm not sure.

The scales are extra thin buffalo horn reinforced with white G10 - I tried to chamfer the horn so that the liner shown in all angles. Anyway, at 7/8" it's a mite bigger than I usually go for but the shortened edge makes for a really nice shave and it took a superb bevel.

There was a sign of hone wear on the spine so I started off with three layers of 3M tape which turned out to be just right.

My service is good, fast and cheap. Select any two and discount the third.
