Default A couple more finished razors

Hello gents just finished a couple more custom razors, first up is a razor for my sons 18th birthday it's 8/8" Sheffield 01, 1/4 hollow mirror finished blade with 18 inlaid diamonds ( his birthstone) and 5300 year old carbon dated English bog oak scales, with a pre ban Ivory wedge.
Now I have just got to teach him how to use it! although I may start him on a 5/8" first.
    Cheers for looking Edward Brice.

Next up is a razor for a female barber ,it's 8/8" 1/4 hollow Sheffield 01 with a curled monkey tail and inlaid alexandrite (her birthstone) and diamonds ,and is mirror polished.
For scales I used magenta ice kirinite, and casin which is a ivory substitute for the wedge.

Great work there. You're son is very lucky to be getting such a fine razor made by his dad

Fantastic. Your son will love it, and hopefully will shave with it and think of you for the rest of his life. What a treasure.

Wow, I love both of these, but that 1st one for your son is an unbelievable heirloom. Your lucky son will think of you every time he shaves with it!

It occurs to me that the unique monkey tail on the 2nd one could be used to hang it on a hook. And the inlaid gemstones are a unique idea.
