Henry H. Taylor & Brother...circa 1862-1863
Henry H. Taylor & Brother only manufactured razors and cutlery during the period of 1862-1863, making this razor, I would suppose, a fairly rare example of Sheffield steel. It comes with it's original case... rarer still! They were manufactured at the Times Works in Sheffield, England.
The razor has been polished with a 'brilliant' crocus paste, and the original scales were repaired/restored as well. Original lead wedge and finished with NiAg pins and collars... (Completely pinned for Mr. Tom!!!)
Hope you like it...

Good as new, or better! I'm so glad you are posting again! Any chance you could tell us more about this "brilliant crocus paste"? (Unless it is a secret recipe LOL!). I bought some crocus cloth off of eBay (and am frankly a little hesitant to apply it to vintage steel until I know more about it), but never heard of the paste.
