Triton 7/8 Resto
This is my first three pin rescale. The blade wasn't too bad but the scales were "time warped" .
I replaced the originals with horn. The pivot pin was fitted with bushings, the original had none.
Honed up and ready for tomorrow!

Very nice looking razor. Those scales are very well done! I also like the placement of that third pin.

That's a really good looking job.
Apart from stability is there any reason for the third pin?
I mean it looks great but most of mine only have two, with the exception of one and that third pin always seems to hinder my clean up/drying routine. It doesn't look as good as this one does though it's really just an internal spacer on some plastic scales.Fact: Opinions are not the same as facts... Well, that's my opinion anyway

Yes, fine job. The scales shine so much. I too am not much on the third pin and have one razor with it. And durring clean up its a bit in the way. But i know how you feel. If it had one then id probably put one back in too.
It's just Sharpening, right?
