Default brush stand in pewter and sterling silver

Just finished this brush stand with salvaged materials.I used the top off a broken presentation walking stick (that's the sterling silver and ebony part) that i picked up for a couple dollars at a junk store ( i don't think they knew what they had as it was all tarnished black). The base is from a pewter bowl that i found for a dollar and the holder is a horn scale blank piece (probably the most expensive part).I put it all together with some turned pewter accents. It is threaded together so i can take it apart if i ever need to expand or change any thing. Thanks for looking, i hope it inspires you

Repurposed stuff assembled into an attractive and function item is a great activity. It requires some serious vision. It turned out very well. The horizontal horniece with the scroll work looks great. I like it.

It looks great, kind of reminds me of the scales of justice...

It's always good to see that you have trained your son well too

Great job and as said, it takes vision. I like it, and appreciate your creativity

That's awesome! Neat being sourced from different materials, makes it fun to look at each part.
