    Very nice save. I too wonder about the strength in that repair. But i dought its going to be an everyday shaver so if it hold up for a couple shaves then you did a fine job. Congrads!

    With as many razors as I have, nothing is a daily shaver... but I've done this sort of repair numerous times. It's very sturdy. Frankly, after the dye bath that wrecked the blade originally, that join will survive stresses the rest of the scales won't. I'd be completely comfortable using it as a daily shaver.
