At a loss for words, as-usual. It has all been said!

Beautiful restoration work, from what I've found John Bagshaw was a retailer in Liverpool. The razors he sold were likely to have been made in my home city of Sheffield.

Thanks for the kind feedback, gents! It really means a lot, especially coming from aficionados such as yourselves.

I had a shave with it today and it performed perfectly. Such a joy to shave with one that's been brought back into service, especially the first shave where you know it's been many years since the last time it was able to be used.

Thanks for that info! Have you seen the years of operation?
I have a lovely pair in ivory with simply 'Bagshaw and Sons' on the tang.

I've found a receipt online from 1837, photo below (not for razors though), also references to the firm in the 1920's and 30's.
The items sold were wide ranging from Razors of course, clocks, tea caddies, sewing boxes, silver ware.
I have a nice Bagshaw with a nice tang and spine.

    Regards Brian
