    Fine job of it. The wedge looks a bit more like a spacer but there is a little wedge shape to it. I had a tough time with wedges but after a few of them they are not that hard. Just tiny to hold on too. You should be proud of what you did. For your first you did a lot better than me with my first!

    That is quite an accomplishment! A man after my own heart doing it by hand. There is little as satisfying as shaving with one you saved. Keep 'em comin' - can't wait to see more of your projects!

    Excellent job you have done on that W&B, it looks good. Very impressive for the first time restoring a razor. Enjoy!

    Thanks again to everyone for the kind words and constructive feedback. I cannot express enough how much credit goes to this forum's membership and its shared knowledge and tutelage. I'd really encourage others to try their hand as it was a really satisfying experience. You also learn a lot and gain an appreciation for all that goes into a razor. I'm hooked!
