Default Joseph Rodgers & Son 8/8" For Barbers restoration

    Hello!

I want to show the restored razor. It was carried out by my familiar master for the restoration of razors. A new handle was made of a horn (asked to be in shape exactly the same as the original one), the blade was polished, small chips were cut off on the cutting edge and sharpening was performed. I liked that the master decided not to do a deep polishing and save some of the rest of the time on a razor.

The razor is simply stunning! Gives an excellent, comfortable and smooth shave. Only when I use this razor on my neck does not appear irritation or redness on the skin. And like the shape of the blade - very comfortable (sharpened rounded nose, a small "smile" closer to the end of the razor, width 8/8, excellent steel, the correct geometry of the blade).

Also never saw Joseph Rodgers in barber form with such an unusual spine, only with a straight line.

Very Nice razor and well done on the restoration! Not to step on your thread...BUT...just to show you another example of the same razor that I restored last year with a two-toned finish. Like yours it is an exceptional shaver:

Thank you for sharing! Very interesting, I searched everything on the Internet in search of a similar razor, but I did not find any. Yours is also in excellent condition and restored very well. Could you show some more photos?

I love a nice chopper! And I was about to say I think that the spine work may have been added to it after. But by the looks of it with wolfpack having the exact, it may have been a true design. Neat!

Beautiful razor nicely restored to it's former glory
Rodgers must have made hundred's of different style razors, many of them very fancy.
